I ordered a windshield for a Polaris Xpedition for local pickup. The confirmation email I received told me it would be ready 5 days later. I called the store a day in advance to confirm it would be ready the next day and was told that I had "just barely placed the order" and that it would be 3-4 weeks before it would be available. Why did I receive an email confirming it's availability for a specific date? They couldn't explain it either.
Three weeks later, I called back to check when it would be ready for pickup. Again I was told I had barely placed the order and it was going to be another 1.5 weeks. Serious? That same day I got a phone call and email saying my order was ready. Wait, what? I was left feeling confused and concerned.
When I picked up the windshield, it did not come with any instructions so I ended up finding an installation video from a competitor's product on YouTube to figure out how to install it on my vehicle. I then realized they did not give me all of the hardware required. That was really frustrating. So I had to go back to the store and describe to them what hardware was needed. At first they tried to give me the wrong mounting hardware, but after a few attempts of me describing what was missing they finally provided the correct mounting hardware.
The quality of the window is great. It doesn't seat perfectly on the bottom, leaving gaps in the corners where you can feel air flow into the cabin, but otherwise fits well within the frame.
The poor customer experience results in 3 stars for an otherwise great product. The service issues are totally fixable, so hopefully this review provides helpful feedback to make the changes necessary for Dirt Warriors to become a 5 star shop.
