00:00:12.420 parts your car will ever need
00:00:16.079 hey there motorheads you're locked into
00:00:17.760 Motorhead garage presented by
00:00:19.699 dragonfiretools.com I know you love
00:00:22.380 off-roading just like all of us do here
00:00:24.000 at Motorhead garage and when folks buy a
00:00:26.519 side by side like this of course they
00:00:28.260 roll it off the line chain as soon as
00:00:30.060 they get it home they take it out for a
00:00:31.920 spin they realize it needs a couple of
00:00:33.480 things so what are what are the first
00:00:34.739 mods they want to make to a UTV like
00:00:36.780 this probably the number one thing is a
00:00:39.000 front window as soon as they go down the
00:00:40.980 road at 50 miles an hour down a dirt
00:00:42.660 Trail or whatever else and they realize
00:00:43.920 the bugs and the dust and everything
00:00:45.960 coming in they decide that that's a
00:00:48.300 necessary thing and dirt Warrior
00:00:49.860 accessories that's how you guys started
00:00:51.059 how did you develop your first
00:00:52.200 windshields we didn't like anything that
00:00:53.760 was on the market so we kind of started
00:00:55.680 making up some different different ideas
00:00:57.180 and and come up with a couple of things
00:00:58.800 one unique thing we have is the vent
00:01:01.260 system on on these windows so you can
00:01:03.539 open it up to get airflow during the
00:01:05.040 summer when it's hot
00:01:07.640 yes with the vents when it opens up it
00:01:10.439 actually forces the air in just so the
00:01:12.600 natural dynamics of the car and the next
00:01:14.640 step after the front windshield folks
00:01:16.260 are probably out in the back window the
00:01:17.880 back window it makes a big difference on
00:01:21.119 the dust boiling down the road the
00:01:23.340 faster you go the faster it comes in and
00:01:25.140 I've said you know some people on the
00:01:26.400 back with the dirt all over their
00:01:27.780 shoulders and everything else oh yeah
00:01:29.939 perfect so you guys develop those as
00:01:31.680 well and then when it came to the sides
00:01:33.659 the only option that was available for a
00:01:35.220 long long time it was just like a golf
00:01:36.900 cart kind of had them eyes and glass and
00:01:38.579 sort of just a plastic side and what was
00:01:40.799 wrong with that when you're driving a
00:01:42.000 side by side the downfalls of those are
00:01:44.340 as soon as any dust or mud or anything
00:01:45.900 gets on them and you wipe them off they
00:01:47.880 scratch really easy and then all you're
00:01:50.159 looking at is just a scratched window
00:01:51.540 they didn't seal off that grate they
00:01:54.420 kind of flopped around made a lot of
00:01:55.920 noise that way that's why we come into
00:01:58.320 making these things out of full glass
00:02:00.960 and this is also quarter inch safety
00:02:03.060 glass all the aluminum we use eighth
00:02:04.979 inch aluminum for the sides everything's
00:02:06.899 powder coated everything is built right
00:02:09.179 there in St George Utah what's the
00:02:11.280 installation process like I know we we
00:02:12.900 put this in it didn't take very long so
00:02:14.340 walk folks through what it takes to put
00:02:16.140 one of your enclosures in okay so if
00:02:18.120 you'll notice some of the screw holes
00:02:19.980 here this is actually how it's put on
00:02:22.080 everything that we have installed uses
00:02:24.060 Factory holes that are already existing
00:02:26.040 so I'm not drilling into my brand new
00:02:27.480 side by side and making holes where they
00:02:28.980 don't belong which is a good thing right
00:02:30.900 right because all of us hate doing that
00:02:32.700 yep we try to make this thing look as
00:02:34.319 close to factory as we could all the
00:02:36.300 factory holes that we use are existing
00:02:38.220 and we come up with some different
00:02:39.660 brackets that kind of hold the system in
00:02:41.400 place easy to get in and out of turn the
00:02:44.099 handles and pull it open
00:02:47.879 reach inside open up the door goes back
00:02:51.360 in shuts back and this locks the handle
00:02:54.120 back in so it's nice and tight it's
00:02:55.860 secure but it's able to for the car and
00:02:57.660 cage to move around because if these
00:02:59.459 cars on the off-road and all the
00:03:00.720 suspension the way it works and
00:03:01.800 everything they're moving around we
00:03:02.819 don't want to put any stress on the
00:03:04.019 glass that we didn't have to that's for
00:03:05.459 sure and what about rattles and stuff
00:03:06.959 like that I know that's that's a big
00:03:08.220 concern with folks it is so we tried to
00:03:10.500 make sure that every part that touches
00:03:12.239 anything is sealed off with rubber so
00:03:14.519 that we can cut down onto many squeaks
00:03:16.080 as possible
00:03:17.040 and the way that everything's locked in
00:03:18.599 we try to lock it as tight I mean like
00:03:20.340 if you feel these are really solid on
00:03:21.840 there even in the front doors which were
00:03:24.840 kind of the same way turn the handle on
00:03:26.580 the top move the door here actually has
00:03:28.800 a whole fill in piece to take the window
00:03:30.959 off if you want to you can just lift it
00:03:32.519 up take it off or slip it right back on
00:03:34.739 you're ready to go back out again very
00:03:36.959 cool on the installation process
00:03:38.280 typically how long does it take for an
00:03:40.200 entire vehicle if you want to enclose it
00:03:41.640 probably about an hour to do the whole
00:03:43.799 thing give or take faster if you have a
00:03:46.440 buddy as well absolutely how many
00:03:48.299 different makes and models do you cover
00:03:49.560 with your enclosure currently right now
00:03:51.120 we have 12 different machines that we
00:03:52.980 cover with the full enclosures now as
00:03:55.140 far as front and back windows we cover
00:03:56.760 pretty much every machine out there
00:03:59.099 we have a front back for them we are
00:04:00.959 slowly working on all the enclosures
00:04:02.459 what about colors what are my choices we
00:04:04.799 can do these in about any powder coating
00:04:06.360 color even in things with the normal
00:04:07.920 color we do is black it's a textured
00:04:10.319 black seems a whole lot better on the
00:04:11.760 trees and stuff but we offer in about
00:04:13.080 any color dirt Warrior accessories not
00:04:16.019 just about these enclosures which are
00:04:17.639 amazing they've got just about every
00:04:19.260 accessory you need for your side by side
00:04:21.060 and coming soon Heating in the air we'll
00:04:23.460 be right back with more Motorhead garage
