Sun Visor For Can-Am Defender Limited HD10 & Lone Star Cab
Not what I really wanted. Sent emails to return the sun visors. I still have not heard back, over a week later. I’m not impressed.
Windshield and frame are great but vent control hardware leaves a lot to be desired. 1/4” hardware in 5/16” holes ? Come on man!
Purchased these visors because they were advertised to fit 2026+ models. Unfortunately, they do NOT fit my 2027 Defender MAX Limited HD11 as supplied. The mounting space is insufficient, and the screws are too short. The 2027 appears to have a different overhead speaker configuration than the 2026 model, which may be causing the issue. We contacted the company and were told they would investigate, but we have yet to receive a resolution. Very disappointing, especially since the product is advertised as compatible.
The glass itself looks good, but for a roughly $3,000 enclosure, the fitment, design, and overall value are disappointing.
My passenger-side panel arrived scraped, the boxes were heavily damaged, and there were no printed instructions. The contents were wrapped well, but installation still required extra hardware, additional weather stripping, sealant, and some improvisation.
The biggest issue is compatibility with the 2026 Honda Talon, especially with the OEM glass windshield and power mirrors. I had to relocate the mirrors, lost some passenger-side visibility, and A-pillar accessories like grab handles and larger clamps can interfere with the doors.
Weather sealing is poor in several areas, allowing water into the cab. The door handles frequently loosen even with Loctite, and having to open the window before opening the door is frustrating. The doors are also a pain to install and remove, and there is no storage bag or padded zippered cover included for the glass when you take them off.
That said, if your priority is looks and you are trying to build a fully enclosed, air-conditioned Talon like I am, this is essentially the only full-glass option available. There really isn't a competing glass enclosure on the market right now. Unfortunately, that also means there isn't much competitive pressure for the manufacturer to improve the fitment and design.
Looking back, if I wasn't planning to add air conditioning, I would probably buy a rear window separately and use Honda OEM or SuperATV components for the rest. I will be contacting customer service to see if they can help rectify some of these issues. For now, I would only recommend this enclosure if having a full-glass cab is more important to you than perfect fitment and ease of installation. Pro it does look really good but at the end of the day I regret my purchase.
They definitely do their job blocking the sun and are built to last.
The one problem I have is keeping them tight so they don't start creeping down on rough trails. It only happens after they have been adjusted down and up a couple times, they loosen up a bit. My solution is to keep a wrench handy and snug them back up. No big deal but I wish I didn't have to do that. They are great!

I have the 2026 Can Am Lonestar edition that has the speakers on the roof. This product states that it works with the speaker configuration but it doesn’t. If I fold them up, it folds on top of the speakers that are on the roof. I wouldn’t have purchased this knowing that. They product would be fine if it didn’t fold over on top of the speaker when folded up.
My order: Can-am X3 2-door side windows coated in "Loft Green" with the medium window tint.
My Review:
***General Conditions: The products arrived undamaged and were packed very well.
***Fit and Finish: The powder coating does not match the factory color. Yes, I understand it's close, but CA Tech nailed it on their accessories, I expected the same. 6/10 for the color match.
***Window Tint: The $140 USD charge for tint seemed a little expensive for externally applied film, so I assumed the glass itself was tinted (especially since these are "offroad vehicles". Nope. It's film on the interior of the glass. They also wrote my order number on the film with a crayon; I found out the tint was film when removing that crayon text with a razer blade... ya, I scratched the shit out of it...lovely. 2/10 for that.
***Installation: Here's a very important note from me to you; the front filler piece (small triangle of metal) will not work with a BRP Factory Glass Windshield. I'm pretty handy, so I fabricated custom parts for this area. 6/10
All-in-all, this is a decent product that could use some fine tuning for the cost.
