Every windshield we produce is made with Laminated Clear Safety Glass just like automobile glass. Each windshield has two independently working Vents which can be open or closed depending on the weather. The Aluminum Frames are Powder Coated in Textured Black which is more scratch resistant than standard smooth Powder Coats. Each windshield was templated by our team of fabricators using the best technology and equipment to get the best fit possible.
Please note that because of the nature of how these machines are put together and how they are made, no two machines are ever exactly alike and that's why we leave a minimum tolerance to accommodate for each machine.
REALIZE this does not convert your machine into a Submarine. Expect minimal to no water entering through your windshield where it links to the roof or a similar point.

This review is for a the DWA glass windshield for my '22 Wildcat XX.
The Windshield shipped quickly and the packaging was way more than adequate, so the whole thing arrived faster than anticipated and with zero damage. Installation was super easy. The reason I chose this particular windshield was for the reportedly wider field of view, but also because its flatter profile at the top of the frame allows it to fit with the OEM Arctic Cat aluminum roof that has small hangovers. Other glass windshields out there for this machine do not allow for that.
Like I said, installation was very easy - loosened the roof and clamped on the windshield. There's no way to install it incorrectly. I had my brother help me so we had two sets of hands. Took about fifteen minutes start to finish.
Quality is amazing. This thing is stout even for having a flatter overall profile than most other brands. The dual vents are awesome and easy to operate and stay in any position even while bouncing on the trail or ripping dunes. I also ordered to the manual wiper, which I haven't had to use yet, but it went on easily enough. The wiper is adequate but on average with most others out there. I do like that the blade itself is measured for the specific windshield size rather than some universal thing you get from Amazon. As such, the wiper takes care of the majority of the glass area without any overlap onto the frame. Perfect. The Wildcat XX uses a size 10 blade.
Overall this is the best upgrade I've done other than tire and wheel selection, and is miles and miles better than riding dusty trails and dunes with a polymer windshield that leaves you more blind than anything after only a few minutes. Glass is the way to go!
Customer service was absolutely great. They assured me of my order every step of the way and even gave me a military discount. I called back to order some decals to put on my machine, I firmly believe in advertising products I believe in and use, especially from USA owned and operated companies. They didn't have the 6.5" decals, so they sent me the 5" ones instead, which is fine, and they threw a bunch of other stickers in the package, too, just for the heck of it. DWA is now proudly displayed on the sides and hood of my machine along with other products I believe in.

I chose this windshield because you have a wider field of view. The fit and finish is dictated by the time spent on installation. If you had a powered wiper option which no one else has would have made the $$$ of the windshield better!!
